Objects as Garments
Objects as Garments is an editorial exploring how everyday materials can become wearable forms. Inspired by designers who push against traditional ideas of clothing, I wanted to investigate how objects change meaning once placed on the body. The first look transforms gloves into a sculptural top worn by a male model, opening up a conversation about who is seen and objectified in fashion. The second look uses black leather belts arranged into a mini dress-like silhouette, playing with the relationship between softness and structure, and between femininity and strength. I directed, photographed, styled, and produced the entire series, focusing on how material and form can communicate on their own.
