#mycalvins
This editorial series reimagines Calvin Klein’s 2016 #mycalvins campaign, which sparked widespread criticism for several ads that crossed into voyeuristic and exploitative territory. I wanted to respond directly to that issue by holding onto the core idea of self-expression, while shifting the focus toward authenticity and empowerment. Instead of celebrity-driven marketing, I photographed everyday people and asked them what the tagline meant to them personally. The result is a series of portraits that feel honest and grounded. I creative directed, photographed, styled, and produced the entire campaign, reframing the story in a way that prioritizes individuality and respect.
